Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand engineering workflows, constraints, and existing tools.
- Translate customer context into practical integration plans.
- Connect NC to customer PLM, CAD, and simulation systems through APIs, scripts, and other automation mechanisms.
- Automate engineering workflows and associated data exchange.
- Execute and monitor jobs across cloud or HPC environments where relevant.
- Contribute production features, tooling, and reusable integration patterns to NC’s core product.
- Turn field experience into improvements that make future customer integrations faster.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience automating PLM and CAD systems through their APIs.
- Experience writing production software or software used by other engineers.
- Good knowledge of simulation workflows and data exchange, including FEM, CFD, or CAE automation.
- Deeper CAE or HPC experience is a strong plus.
- Background transitioning from mechanical or industrial engineering into PLM/CAD/CAE automation and software is aligned with the role.
- Customer-oriented, clear communicator who can work directly with engineering teams and identify underlying workflow problems.
- Willingness to spend meaningful time on-site with customers, up to a quarter of the time.
- Based in or near Lausanne, preferred, or Zurich.
