Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop key features and applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications.
- Benchmark, analyze, and optimize applications for scalability, security, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and the development of coding standards.
- Help design and implement specialised AI assistant technology.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development experience.
- Experience with compiled languages such as Rust, OCaml, Golang, Java, or C#, or dynamic languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience building web or desktop applications using technologies such as Electron, Tauri, React, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD technologies, including GitHub Actions or similar.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis, Neo4j, Milvus, or MongoDB, including data consistency tradeoffs.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving, technical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, Pinecone, or Milvus, or similar.
- Experience building native desktop applications.
- Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks such as spaCy or Transformers.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and NLP datasets.
