Base Salary
$114k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact application and business-process problems through complex systems analysis and evaluation of industry standards.
- Design and develop applications in accordance with architecture standards, including coding, testing, debugging, and implementation practices.
- Analyze system flows, define issues, and develop innovative technical solutions.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, and controls.
- Manage and implement successful software projects and provide subject matter expertise in applications development.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant software development experience and systems analysis/programming experience.
- At least 5 years of applications development experience and hands-on server-side Java 8 experience, including concurrent programming.
- At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, and CSS.
- Strong experience with Oracle and/or MongoDB databases and SQL query creation.
- Knowledge of modern application architecture, Spring Boot, event-driven services, and cloud-native application development.
- Practical experience with Web API, Kafka, and Git; IBM WebSphere experience is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test Driven Development environments.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Data modeling and data architecture experience is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.

- Full-time position based in Tampa, Florida.
- Base salary range of $113,840.00 to $170,760.00 per year.
