Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality contributions to each release, focusing on defect prevention and user experience.
- Develop clear and comprehensive test plans defining scope, time estimates, and resource needs.
- Drive the creation and execution of test suites tailored to the pod's needs.
- Maintain a clean and prioritized bug database.
- Lead the onboarding of external QA resources into the pod.
- Perform hands-on testing and ensure accountability at all development stages.
- Raise pre-production quality concerns by reviewing briefs and design documents.
- Facilitate pod-specific playtests to gather feedback and track issues.
- Collaborate with Customer Support and Live & Release teams to resolve live issues.
- Adhere to team-wide QA governance and best practices.
- Participate in pod and QA team ceremonies, providing feedback and alignment.
- Collaborate with developers to assess cross-functional impacts on quality control.
- Monitor app health metrics and act to mitigate issues post-release.
- Provide feedback during annual reviews to peers and managers.
- Promote Scopely's core tenets through actions and communication.

- Extensive knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking systems.
- Mobile exposure and understanding of Apple/Google submission protocols.
- Sound understanding of the gaming industry and development lifecycle.
