Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using JavaScript.
- Create automated UI, API, and end-to-end test suites and reusable test components.
- Execute regression and smoke testing and improve automation coverage across business-critical applications.
- Define test strategies, test data, and automation approaches while supporting functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform defect root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to prevent defects earlier in the lifecycle.
- Use AI-powered testing tools for test generation, defect prediction, impact analysis, optimization, and requirement-to-test traceability.
- Evaluate and recommend AI solutions that improve software quality and delivery speed.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and generate automated test reports and quality metrics.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating across engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of QA automation experience.
- Strong JavaScript development skills and experience building test frameworks.
- Experience with UI and API test automation, REST API testing, and Agile SDLC environments.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD integration.
- Defect management and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience delivering automation solutions in large enterprise environments and working in Agile product teams.
- Exposure to AI-driven software engineering practices.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-assisted testing tools, GenAI testing applications, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, performance testing, cloud environments, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
