Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, high-performance interfaces for developers and small teams managing production Kubernetes clusters.
- Prototype and iterate on interaction patterns for infrastructure management using real feedback.
- Establish frontend architecture patterns and practices as an early engineering team member.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to use APIs and backend services to display real-time infrastructure state.
- Implement UI animations and data visualizations that make distributed systems concepts clear and actionable.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Demonstrated experience defining and establishing frontend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience working with APIs and backend services.
- Background in systems programming or distributed systems.
- Preferred qualifications include experience shipping infrastructure or developer tools, complex state management, observability tools such as Grafana, UI animations, backend programming, GitOps or infrastructure-as-code tooling, frontend testing and automation, WebSockets, real-time data streaming, or visualization libraries.
Benefits
- Salary of $150,000–$200,000 USD annually.
