Base Salary
$240k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture of Haus's data ingestion and normalization platform.
- Design and implement high-leverage systems for data management.
- Drive architectural decisions in our GCP/BigQuery/dbt stack.
- Mentor senior engineers and conduct code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with data science to create reliable data contracts.
- Manage incident response and post-mortems for pipeline failures.
- Influence the broader engineering organization's data strategy.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of software engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of experience building production data platforms.
- Proven track record of technical leadership at a Staff level.
- Deep expertise in Python and SQL/dbt.
- Strong experience with modern orchestrators and cloud data warehouses.
- Demonstrated ownership of a non-trivial data platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
