Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, security, scalability, and performance of Opal Security’s platform.
- Take ownership of critical components of Opal Security’s Infrastructure.
- Empower product engineers with the tools and systems they need.
- Work closely with leadership, product teams, and other engineers in roadmap and architecture discussions.
- Create and improve engineering best practices and processes.
- Interact directly with customers on product feedback and issues.
Requirements
- Familiarity with tech stack: Kubernetes, Golang, Postgres, Redis, Terraform, GraphQL, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS / GCP) and scaling cloud infrastructure.
- 4+ years experience as a full-time software engineer or equivalent experience building large distributed systems.
- Thrives in ambiguous environments with significant ownership and decision-making opportunities.
