Responsibilities
- Build, evolve, and maintain reusable enterprise UI components, component APIs, states, patterns, design tokens, themes, and accessibility standards.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of Genetec’s micro-frontends platform, including shared tooling, scaffolding, and runtime utilities.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered tools for UI linting, accessibility checks, mockup comparison, code-generation assistance, and documentation automation.
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and product teams through mockup and Figma reviews and provide technical guidance on component and micro-frontend integration.
- Support front-end governance, documentation, adoption guidelines, performance, security, lifecycle management, and developer experience.
- Occasionally fix UI bugs in product repositories to unblock teams and maintain quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of front-end development experience with modern frameworks such as React or equivalent.
- Proven experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, semantic HTML, CSS architecture, and UI performance best practices.
- Hands-on experience with micro-frontends, modular architectures, or shared platforms.
- Experience integrating or building developer tools, ideally including AI and automation workflows.
- Solid knowledge of accessibility, including WCAG, usability principles, and front-end testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with designers and engineers.
- Fluency in French and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Preferred: experience with design tokens, theming engines, multi-product design systems, Storybook, automated visual regression testing, UI CI/CD, open-source component libraries, developer tooling, generative AI models, AI-based developer tools, or WPF.
