Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage automated, reliable, and secure AWS and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform and other automation tools.
- Develop and maintain secure, reliable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational processes using scripting.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Manage AWS services, cloud-native infrastructure, Docker workloads, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Design and maintain firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and secure cloud-to-on-premises connectivity.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and networking issues and participate in on-call and incident response rotations.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to improve reliability, deployment processes, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and solid knowledge of networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and network security.
- Familiarity with security best practices, IAM, encryption, compliance requirements, and troubleshooting.
- AWS certifications, DevSecOps experience, security compliance knowledge, SIEM and vulnerability-management experience, zero-trust and micro-segmentation knowledge, and German language skills are advantageous.
