Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation and create or execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify gaps, and report and track defects.
- Design and implement test automation strategies and maintain automated test suites.
- Ensure test coverage, timely execution, and delivery of testing activities.
- Support engineering teams with troubleshooting application and development/test environment issues.
- Collaborate with development and business analysis teams to evaluate product performance, quality, security, and stability.
- Apply QA and software engineering best practices and continuously improve quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong experience developing automation scripts with Selenium using Java.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as BDD, Cucumber, and Page Object Model.
- Ability to create, execute, and maintain automated test suites and identify and communicate defects.
- Experience with source-control tools such as Git or SVN.
- Experience with REST API automation tools such as Rest Assured or HttpClient using Java is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodology, test-driven development, Lean, and Scrum.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
