Base Salary

$157k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring issue remediation and improve application and system operational stability.
  • Lead evaluations with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architectural designs, technical capabilities, and applicability.
  • Lead software engineering communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and diverse team culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Java/JEE design and development experience, including AI-assisted coding, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced Java programming skills and advanced knowledge of React or Angular.
  • Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Advanced understanding of application resiliency and security, along with practical cloud-native experience.
  • Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems.
  • Preferred experience with IAM/authentication, multi-region resilience, Dynatrace, Splunk, Ansible, pipeline-as-code, financial services compliance, Pingfed, and Forgerock.
