Member of Technical Staff, Backend Engineering Lead - Portworx Enterprise
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native services and integrate new features into Portworx products.
- Perform design, development, unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Debug product and performance issues in large-scale clusters using AI tooling.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to take solutions from initial design to production.
- Own design and development activities, incorporating customer feedback and resolving issues found in unit testing, system testing, and customer deployments.
- Experiment with new technologies to advance product innovation.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science.
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products, with Golang preferred.
- Understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience designing and owning microservices in distributed systems scaling to thousands of nodes.
- Expert debugging skills and ability to solve ambiguous problems at scale in public and private cloud environments.
- Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including product management and customer beta partners.
- Strong software design sensibility, collaborative working style, and solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
