Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the local developer experience including devboxes, local DBs, and Docker workflows.
- Improve feedback loops for build, test, and CI processes.
- Develop reusable checks for high-risk workflows and ensure reliable verification.
- Create internal tooling to streamline workflows and replace outdated scripts.
- Establish secure access protocols for agent-assisted development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a Staff-level impact.
- Deep experience in developer productivity, platform, CI, or internal tooling systems.
- Strong backend/platform skills in TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or similar.
- Experience using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
- Ability to assess and implement security controls effectively.
