AI Engineer, Multimodal LLMs
Eloquent AIResponsibilities
- Build, deploy, and optimize AI agents for enterprise-grade conversations.
- Design and develop multimodal LLM architectures involving language, speech, vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Evaluate trade-offs between model quality and efficiency when applying research to production solutions.
- Refine training paradigms for real-world applications.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems through APIs, databases, and automation tools.
- Experiment to improve AI-driven interactions, response quality, and automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams to shape the company roadmap.
- Monitor and improve agent performance through user simulations and evaluations.
Requirements
- At least three years of production experience in software development, AI engineering, or NLP.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience with LLMs, large computer vision models, or generative AI models, including fine-tuning and inference optimization.
- Familiarity with APIs, AWS, GCP, or Azure, and enterprise integrations.
- Ability to prototype, experiment, and iterate quickly to improve AI agents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with customers to refine AI solutions.
- Solid mathematical foundation in machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Preferred experience with prompt engineering, parameter-efficient fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, or reinforcement learning for LLMs.
- Preferred publications at AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ACL, SIGIR, ICML, or ICLR.
- Preferred contributions to open-source NLP projects and experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
