Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable software solutions in Python for Linux and Windows.
- Develop and deploy synchronous and asynchronous API web services using Python frameworks.
- Develop methods for testing machine learning models throughout development, deployment, and recalibration.
- Train machine learning models, analyze performance metrics, and communicate results using visual and statistical aids.
- Analyze, visualize, and summarize large multidimensional datasets.
- Apply software development best practices for system design, coding, automated unit and regression testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Extensive experience with Python and frameworks such as CherryPy, Bottle, Flask, or Django.
- Experience with Python multithreading and multiprocessing on Linux and Windows.
- Solid SQL experience and experience querying databases through Python, such as with pyodbc.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks including unittest and pytest, and software versioning tools such as Bitbucket.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, independence, and attention-to-detail skills.
