Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, manage, and optimize Azure infrastructure and cloud solutions for scalability, performance, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain network and server documentation, infrastructure diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
  • Monitor Azure resources, applications, ADF pipelines, networks, and servers to proactively identify reliability and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with application development teams on Azure architecture, provisioning, scaling, configuration, and Azure Databricks usage.
  • Detect and respond to infrastructure anomalies, security threats, performance bottlenecks, and Azure-related incidents.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, resolve, and document complex infrastructure, network, server, and Databricks issues.
  • Set up, manage, and optimize Azure Databricks environments and pipelines for data engineers and data scientists.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts using Terraform and implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
  • Analyze operational trends and costs, implement preventive measures, and identify opportunities to improve Azure processes, tools, scalability, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Azure Architect or Senior Systems Engineer with hands-on Azure solution implementation.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, including environment setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Azure App Services, Function Apps, Cosmos DB, Storage, Networking, Azure DevOps, and Security.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Expertise troubleshooting and resolving Azure-related issues, with knowledge of network security practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business management information systems, or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • DevOps and CI/CD experience in an Azure environment, cloud cost management experience, and Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate are preferred.
  • Candidates must complete a technical pre-screening test and technical interview.

  • Base salary range of $140,000-$160,000 annually, with potential eligibility for quarterly or annual performance bonuses.
