Responsibilities

  • Own the design, implementation, validation, and delivery of scalable product features across backend and frontend layers.
  • Build Java backend applications using Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Develop and integrate responsive frontend applications using React or Angular and TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Own application deployments and chart definitions for Kubernetes-based applications.
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, guide implementation decisions, and share technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture stakeholders to drive work to completion.
  • Ensure technical quality through unit-test coverage, security-process adherence, and identification of security vulnerabilities.
  • Handle customer-escalated issues and contribute to proof-of-concepts, innovation events, and continuous technical improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of application development experience with strong hands-on Java full-stack development.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing REST API-based backend applications with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Mandatory frontend experience with React or Angular, including UI architecture, frontend implementation, and backend integration.
  • Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, SOLID design principles, and common design patterns.
  • Working exposure to a cloud stack such as GCP or AWS and to Kubernetes-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Java full-stack development; exposure to Docker-based applications and microservices architecture is advantageous.
  • Experience with Python or Node.js is advantageous.
  • Experience with unit testing and a BDD automation framework is preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or MySQL.
  • AI use in routine work or personal proofs of concept is an added advantage.
