Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with customer IT and technical decision makers, understand modernization priorities, remove blockers, and represent customer needs to Microsoft engineering and product teams.
- Lead architecture design sessions for secure, scalable, resilient modernization solutions across applications, databases, and infrastructure using CAF, WAF, landing zones, and resiliency guidance.
- Partner with Customer Success Account Managers and account teams to ensure consumption plans, customer success plans, and committed milestones are technically sound.
- Drive application, database, infrastructure, SAP, hybrid, and agents modernization initiatives through proof-of-concept, pilot, and production milestones.
- Improve workload health, resiliency, sovereignty, security, capacity, and performance for production-scale AI and long-term Azure growth.
- Use agents, repeatable IP, templates, and frameworks to scale modernization outcomes and contribute to knowledge reuse and IP development.
- Identify and resolve technical blockers, oversee delivery risks, and support go-live across modernization engagements.
- Identify next-best workload opportunities and partner with account teams to generate incremental pipeline.
- Maintain technical expertise and certifications across Azure modernization, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, AKS, App Service, Azure Container Apps, hybrid infrastructure, Defender for Cloud, GitHub Copilot, Azure Copilot, and modernization agents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in application modernization, database modernization, security, resiliency, AI-ready platform technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English.
- Preferred: experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and modernization solutions, including application, database, and hybrid workload migration.
- Preferred: relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300), or equivalent cloud certifications.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range is kr 798,000.00–kr 1,470,000.00 per year in Norway.
