Responsibilities
- Integrate MCAL, BSW, RTE, and SWCs for AUTOSAR Classic Platform projects or develop flash bootloaders for specific targets.
- Analyze customer requirements and perform software development, integration, and testing based on those requirements.
- Document user guides and test results, report problems, and handle platform feature tickets, issues, and change requests.
- Debug and maintain software on real and virtual ECUs using TCP/IP and automotive communication protocols.
- Interact directly with international customers and provide effort estimates and project-planning inputs.
- Mentor junior team members and travel to customer sites for business purposes when needed.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of embedded software development experience.
- Degree-level educational background in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics, Telecommunication, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, processors, and embedded systems, with bare-metal programming experience.
- C and C++ embedded software development skills.
- Knowledge of OOAD, UML, design patterns, software development life cycle practices, and automotive communication protocols.
- Experience or exposure to emulators, simulators, debugging and test equipment, and real-time operating systems.
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic architecture and methodology, Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, LIN, or FlexRay is advantageous.
- Flash bootloader development experience is advantageous.
- Strong English communication, analytical, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
