Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance validation content, verification code, scalable frameworks, automation, and analysis infrastructure for Qualcomm SoCs.
- Perform end-to-end pre-silicon and post-silicon validation, system integration, bring-up, silicon debug, and hardware-software co-debug.
- Create C and Python code to test modem, RF, and high-speed link hardware engines and develop drivers for custom SERDES links.
- Build functional, performance, concurrency, and stress tests and improve reproducibility, debug turnaround, scalability, and failure analysis.
- Analyze bandwidth, latency, QoS, throughput, performance, power, and concurrency behavior across system architectures and platforms.
- Collaborate with architecture, hardware design, firmware, software, and validation teams to translate requirements into validation solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field; the posting also lists BS in electrical or computer science or equivalent.
- Open to new graduates and individuals with a few years of experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Assembly, Linux, device drivers, and bare-metal software development.
- Knowledge of SoC and system validation, pre-silicon simulation and emulation, RTL, system bring-up, hardware-software debugging, and silicon debug.
- Knowledge of modem, RF, SERDES high-speed interfaces, clock and power management, low-power modes, and performance architecture is relevant.
- Experience with or knowledge of JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, kernel debuggers, and silicon debug methodologies is relevant.
- Ability to work across architecture, design, firmware, software, and validation teams.
