Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python and Ansible automation workflows for network and infrastructure operations.
- Automate provisioning, inventory management, configuration backups, health checks, reporting, compliance validation, and operational tasks.
- Develop tools supporting network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, proxy platforms, and voice infrastructure.
- Integrate network and voice platforms using REST APIs and automation frameworks.
- Assist with software upgrades, configuration deployments, infrastructure standardization, and modernization efforts.
- Troubleshoot and enhance automation solutions while supporting monitoring, validation, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with Network, Voice, Security, and Operations teams to gather requirements and participate in Agile planning, testing, and code reviews.
- Document technical designs, automation workflows, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience in network automation, infrastructure automation, network engineering, DevOps engineering, or software development supporting infrastructure teams.
- Experience working in enterprise network environments.
- Python experience for automation and scripting and Ansible experience for configuration management and orchestration.
- Experience with automation and development, API integrations, RESTful services, Git, JSON, YAML, XML, and Linux fundamentals.
- Strong scripting and problem-solving skills.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, telecommunications, or a related discipline is preferred.
