Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain shared internal frontend frameworks, state-management utilities, and UI scaffolding.
- Build and improve unit-testing utilities and patterns.
- Own build configurations and execute upgrades and migrations across bundlers, package managers, Node.js versions, and linting tools.
- Implement architectural designs that help break the application into independently deployable services.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot build and test failures, and improve pipeline speed and reliability.
- Read, debug, and modify backend services.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of total professional experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and working knowledge of Java or Python.
- Strong experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably React, including understanding of its internal operation.
- Hands-on experience configuring and upgrading frontend build tools, package managers, and linters.
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest, JUnit, pytest, or Playwright.
- Proficiency with Jenkins or GitHub Actions; experience with multiple CI providers is a plus.
- Experience building or maintaining services in a microservices architecture.
- Experience maintaining shared libraries or internal frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP is a plus.
