Base Salary

$179k - $269k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test reliable software for autonomy functions.
Configure and harden RTOS-based runtimes on automotive SoCs.
Diagnose timing, memory, and concurrency issues using hardware debuggers.
Develop tools for system performance insights across Linux and embedded cores.
Maintain low-level system artifacts for optimal code placement.
Collaborate with simulation teams for accurate off-vehicle testing.
Create automated tests to verify software functionality.
Work with autonomy teams to ensure runtime infrastructure integration.
Participate in software and safety architecture development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field with 4+ years of experience.
Hands-on experience developing embedded software on resource-constrained platforms.
Experience with RTOS on ARM Cortex-R or Cortex-M cores.
Knowledge of low-level system topics like MPU/MMU configuration and interrupt handling.
Proficiency with hardware debuggers and on-target tracing tools.
At least 3+ years of experience using C++11 or newer.
Experience in a Linux or Unix environment.
Ability to design software components and communicate designs effectively.
Strong team player with a track record of successful product launches.
