Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, configuration, integration, and sustainment of secure cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Assist with edge-to-cloud integration spanning edge nodes, tactical compute, on-platform systems, on-premises infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Support deployments across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-premises, tactical, and containerized environments, including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation scripts for repeatable provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and sustainment.
- Assist with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows, automated security scanning, configuration management, container deployment, and secure software delivery.
- Support cybersecurity and compliance activities, including RMF documentation, Zero Trust alignment, secure configuration, vulnerability remediation, patching, and audit-ready artifacts.
- Coordinate with technical and program stakeholders to track tasks, document decisions, troubleshoot issues, and communicate status, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with nine or more years of experience, master’s degree with seven or more years, or PhD/JD with four or more years.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Active Secret clearance is required to start, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI after starting.
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems administration, DevOps, infrastructure automation, or related technical operations.
- Experience with enterprise, cloud, hybrid cloud, containerized, or application hosting environments.
- Experience with cloud deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, sustainment, or modernization.
- Experience with scripting, automation, configuration management, or Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, identity, compute, storage, security, monitoring, and infrastructure operations.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, access control, secure configuration, system hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance support.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, program, and government stakeholders and communicate technical issues, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
- Security+ certification is preferred.
- Experience with government cloud environments, AWS services, Terraform, CloudFormation, YAML, JSON, Git-based workflows, Bash, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Amazon EKS, service meshes, distributed data platforms, Zero Trust, RMF, STIGs, cross-domain solutions, tactical or shipboard environments, and web application infrastructure is desired.
