Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, integration, configuration, and sustainment of secure cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Help develop edge-to-cloud architectures integrating edge nodes, tactical compute, on-platform systems, on-premises infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Support deployments across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-premises, tactical, and containerized environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and sustainment.
- Assist with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows, automated security scanning, configuration management, container deployment, and secure software delivery.
- Support RMF documentation, Zero Trust alignment, secure configuration, vulnerability remediation, patching, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with technical and program stakeholders to document decisions, troubleshoot issues, and communicate status, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with nine or more years of experience, master’s degree with seven or more years, or PhD/JD with four or more years.
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required; candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance after starting.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems administration, DevOps, infrastructure automation, or related technical operations.
- Experience with enterprise, cloud, hybrid cloud, containerized, or application hosting environments.
- Experience with cloud deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, sustainment, or modernization.
- Experience with scripting, automation, configuration management, or Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of cloud networking, identity, compute, storage, security, monitoring, access control, system hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, operators, program managers, and government stakeholders and communicate technical issues effectively.
- Security+ certification is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, AWS services, Terraform, CloudFormation, Bash, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Amazon EKS, web infrastructure, databases, authentication services, and defense or operational cloud environments.
