Responsibilities
- Contribute clean, high-quality code directly to Palantir’s Gotham defense product.
- Support the full product lifecycle from idea generation, design, and prototyping through execution and shipping.
- Build software for defense use cases such as geospatial mapping, data visualization, alert triage, and resource allocation planning.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand customer problems and develop solutions.
- Work with small software engineering teams and learn from a dedicated mentor.
Requirements
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Active US security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one before the internship begins.
- Planning to graduate in 2028, with this internship serving as the final internship before graduation.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
- Willingness to learn, make independent decisions, and ask questions when needed.
