Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-fidelity Spacetime system models for dynamic wireless communication networks.
- Design and write production-ready Python or Go adapter layers connecting Spacetime with customer hardware.
- Create and optimize Protobuf, JSON, and gRPC data schemas for external network topologies.
- Perform RF link-budget analyses, wave-propagation modeling, and coverage simulations.
- Lead tier-3 escalation for live networks and diagnose complex system integration issues.
- Collaborate with Product and Software Engineering to convert custom integration patterns into reusable product features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Hands-on software development experience and ability to pass an entry-level software engineering coding assessment.
- Strong understanding of wireless communication systems, including RF path loss, propagation, network topology, and link budgets.
- Practical experience with system, network simulation, or modeling tools.
