Responsibilities
- Lead technical development and design assessment for Workday change initiatives.
- Deliver features within a feature team and guide software engineers across feature teams.
- Contribute to development standards, change governance policies, design reviews, and peer change assessments.
- Architect complex Workday solutions for scalability, performance, and security.
- Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with business customers and diverse stakeholders.
- Support and mentor junior roles and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Analyse complex business processes and requirements and work independently with minimal guidance.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of overall experience is required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM is required.
- Proven experience as a Workday software engineer with strong knowledge of Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Workday Business Process Framework, Calculated Fields, Document Transformation, Workday EIB, and Workday Core Connectors.
- Awareness of Workday Extend, Workday Security, the wider Workday ecosystem, functional modules, the Workday roadmap, and new features.
- Extensive knowledge of SOAP, REST, XML, and XSLT integration technologies and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
- Workday certifications are preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Jira is required, with familiarity with ServiceNow change and review processes and Workday Community preferred.
