Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, cross-browser, responsive-design, installer, update, and configuration testing.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Qt Squish, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to provide early QA feedback on feature requirements.
- Track and report defects in Jira, verify fixes through retesting, and contribute to software quality improvements.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Test RESTful APIs using Postman or automated API-testing scripts.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software QA experience for desktop and web applications.
- Strong understanding of QA principles, test planning, test case development, and defect management.
- Proficiency in manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Qt Squish, or similar automation tools.
- Ability or willingness to write test scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience testing desktop installers, application updates, and configuration scenarios on Windows and macOS.
- Familiarity with RESTful API testing, Postman, Git, Jira, test management tools, and Agile development processes.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written communication, and verbal collaboration skills.
