Base Salary
$117k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scoped feature and model delivery through implementation, iteration, testing, and ongoing support.
- Write reliable code across multiple languages and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools into software solutions.
- Translate high-level designs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, defect management, and application performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Mentor peers and promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus three years of software engineering experience, or five years of software engineering experience without the degree.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale applications using Java- and Node.js-based services.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, documentation-based coding practices, REST and GraphQL APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with code review, debugging, continuous development, and iterative feature delivery.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools to enhance software solutions.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software and collaborate across teams.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a related field plus one year of software engineering experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
