Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scoped features, services, APIs, user interfaces, and ML model components through implementation, iteration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Write clean and reliable software, develop automation scripts, implement telemetry, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot defects.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems and convert high-level designs into detailed technical solutions.
- Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI tools to improve development velocity.
- Build and operate cloud infrastructure, containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define problems, requirements, metrics, milestones, and successful outcomes.
- Provide technical ownership, mentoring, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and informed technical decision-making.
Requirements
- A master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area plus one year of software engineering experience, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a listed field plus three years of experience.
- Experience coding in object-oriented programming languages and using Spring Boot and C# frameworks and libraries for web development.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, virtual machines, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer, VPC, Logic Apps, CloudWatch, and SQL databases.
- Experience with Docker-based container deployments, Docker images, Docker Hub, Docker registries, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating microservices deployment processes.
- Experience developing Python and Bash automation scripts and monitoring and alerting tools for High Performance Computing systems.
- Experience managing and querying MySQL, Postgres, and Oracle databases.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for observability, logging, and issue resolution.
- Experience using Agile and Scrum methodologies and JIRA and ServiceNow issue-tracking systems.
- Experience developing and integrating automations with Spring Boot; the employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
