Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess software gaps, requirements, risks, and change requests and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
- Create user stories and assist with software architecture, detailed design, mock screens, pseudocode, and functional logic.
- Develop, configure, maintain, and re-engineer scalable, highly available software components and applications.
- Build automation scripts and configure CI/CD, testing, deployment, telemetry, security, and logging capabilities.
- Design and implement REST API web services and database tables, stored procedures, and queries.
- Create, execute, and analyze test cases; track defects, perform regression testing, and troubleshoot application issues.
- Monitor application performance, availability, logs, metrics, and maintenance data and provide analysis.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus one year of software engineering or related experience; or a bachelor's degree or equivalent plus three years of such experience.
- Experience developing efficient applications with object-oriented languages such as Java.
- Experience creating user interaction screens with JavaScript and PHP.
- Experience with Maven, node-gyp, Log4j, Java, NodeJS, XML, JSON, and JUnit.
- Experience designing REST API web services and database tables, stored procedures, SQL queries, and CRUD operations.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Splunk, Agile/Scrum, and business requirements.
