Responsibilities
- Own the architecture vision for expanding federated data products into a Knowledge Graph-powered semantic layer.
- Design and implement semantic and context graphs for analytics, data discovery, and insight generation.
- Architect agentic systems supporting semantic search, data comprehension, and conversational interactions.
- Develop scalable reference architectures, high-level designs, and low-level designs for enterprise data and agentic solutions.
- Work hands-on with AWS AgentCore Gateway and Identity, MCP, Knowledge Graph, Amazon Neptune, AWS infrastructure, and agentic services.
- Productionize, integrate, and scale proof-of-concept architecture concepts into operational enterprise solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across complex data platform transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, product, and architecture teams to align technical decisions with business outcomes.
- Build and mentor a high-performing data architecture team.
- Ensure solutions are transparent, explainable, accessible, and suitable for business-facing interfaces.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering data and analytics projects on AWS.
- Extensive experience in data architecture and platform design for large-scale cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience designing semantic layers or Knowledge Graph-based architectures.
- Deep expertise with AWS data and analytics services and AWS data lake architecture using Amazon S3.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg, including table formats, partitioning, schema evolution, and table maintenance.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lake Formation, including LF-tags, row-level and column-level security, data filters, and fine-grained access control.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Neptune and Knowledge Graph technologies.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience designing architectures for advanced analytics, data discovery, and semantic search.
- Experience translating proof-of-concept solutions into operational production environments.
- Experience with AWS AgentCore Gateway and Identity, MCP, and agentic services.
- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Strong stakeholder-facing design leadership and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership through complex architectural transformations and collaborate across engineering, analytics, product, and architecture teams.
- Nice-to-have experience with agent-based or agentic architectures, conversational analytics, explainable analytics, business-facing data products, self-service analytics platforms, next-generation data portals, or semantic data experiences.
