Responsibilities
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices using AWS and TypeScript.
- Design and maintain modular microservices that communicate through well-defined APIs.
- Use AI developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and LLM reasoning models for context gathering, code generation, test generation, and refactoring.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and work toward high test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, design sessions, stakeholder discussions, and code reviews.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for security, correctness, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to platform architecture and collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing service-oriented applications in Java, Python, C#, TypeScript, or another modern language.
- Experience designing and building microservice-based systems with high cohesion and loose coupling.
- Proficiency in a modern object-oriented programming language; TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude into engineering workflows while validating code quality.
- Experience with comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL data stores.
- Expertise in software design patterns and architectural patterns.
- Understanding of software security practices, including OAuth, JWT, and encryption.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong English communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
- AWS serverless experience and technologies such as DynamoDB and SQS are preferred but not required.
