Responsibilities

  • Design and implement customized, high-performance frontend solutions using Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance AEM websites and components with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTL (Sightly).
  • Integrate frontend templates with Sling Models and OSGi services in collaboration with backend developers.
  • Lead frontend troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution across AEM environments.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce frontend coding standards and AEM best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers on AEM development patterns and frontend quality standards.
  • Collaborate with UX and design teams on pixel-accurate, accessible, and performant implementations.
  • Communicate with client stakeholders about updates, requirements, and expectations.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and AEM package management workflows.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of frontend software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the AEM CMS platform.
  • Experience with SASS, LESS, or other CSS frameworks.
  • Experience developing AEM components with HTL (Sightly) and integrating Sling Models.
  • Familiarity with AEM content authoring tools, editable templates, component dialog configuration, Clientlibs, and bundle generator configuration.
  • Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, frontend performance optimization, accessible sites, Web Vitals, and A11y best practices.
  • Awareness of frontend tactics for avoiding security issues.
  • Familiarity with Maven-based build pipelines and AEM package management.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic, client-facing environments.
  • Advanced English proficiency for working with US clients.
  • Comfort using AI coding tools, particularly Windsurf and Claude, for code generation, debugging, documentation, and implementation acceleration.
