Responsibilities

  • Improve ML model training and deployment workflows on large-scale GPU and cloud infrastructure.
  • Explore and prototype generative AI techniques for 2D/3D CAD and geometry data, including embeddings, text-to-geometry, and retrieval-augmented workflows.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks and benchmarking tools to assess model quality, failure modes, and efficiency.
  • Gain exposure to operating ML workloads at scale using Kubernetes, Ray, and distributed training frameworks.
  • Contribute to monitoring, versioning, and governance systems for ML workflows.
  • Document experiments and present findings that inform platform strategy and product integration.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Understanding of ML fundamentals, including training loops, evaluation metrics, embeddings, and transformers.
  • Exposure to MLOps concepts such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and collaborative mindset.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with LLMs, VLMs, or generative models, especially for 2D/3D data.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Ray, MLflow, Neptune.ai, CometML, Weights & Biases, or Airflow.
  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of vector databases or retrieval systems such as pgvector, Pinecone, or FAISS.
  • Coursework, projects, or research in geometry processing, CAD data, robotics, simulations, aerodynamics, or other physics-heavy fields is preferred.
  • Experience benchmarking models and analyzing failure modes is preferred.
