Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and support full-stack financial services applications across digital platforms.
  • Build server-side and client-side application components, APIs, and scalable microservices.
  • Containerize and deploy web applications using Docker and AWS, and manage applications through the AWS console.
  • Perform testing, user acceptance testing support, post-installation testing, documentation, and production delivery activities.
  • Configure CI/CD pipelines and automate application deployment flows using enterprise deployment tools.
  • Perform technical and functional analysis, establish project plans for moderate-scope projects, and decompose complex business problems into scalable solutions.
  • Communicate technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners.
  • Apply accessibility standards, security scanning, and vulnerability remediation practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and one year of relevant experience.
  • Experience designing and developing full-stack web applications in a financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Java, Tomcat, Spring Boot, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Angular, TypeScript, Docker, RESTful JSON and SOAP web services, and Oracle.
  • Experience developing scalable microservices using Spring Boot, Node.js, and Oracle.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE web applications and web services, object-oriented design, design patterns, Swagger, OAuth, Apache Maven, Enterprise Integration patterns, Tridion, and Apache Camel.
  • Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and using Jenkins, Artifactory, IBM uDeploy, GitHub, AWS EKS, Splunk, and Datadog for automated deployment flows.
  • Experience with application security scanning and vulnerability remediation using Mend and Sonar.
  • Experience developing responsive, accessible, cross-browser-compatible MVC-based web applications.
