Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure for asynchronous processing of financial data.
- Liaise with teams to ensure the infrastructure meets their needs.
- Debug production issues across services and manage an on-call pager rotation.
- Plan for the growth of Stripe’s asynchronous infrastructure.
- Analyze existing software for performance optimizations and quality assurance.
- Mentor engineers and review code.
- Manage projects, measuring impact and creating maintenance plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of engineering experience or equivalent.
- Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
