Responsibilities
- Define and drive backend architecture for AI governance systems.
- Design the AI audit event system for reliable audit visibility.
- Build and guide the integration layer between the Duo Agent Platform and governance capabilities.
- Guide technical design for tool and registry governance.
- Define backend foundations for a declarative policy framework.
- Drive architectural consistency and implementation quality across teams.
- Strengthen team effectiveness by mentoring other engineers.
- Accelerate delivery by aligning governance architecture with existing platform patterns.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and operating backend systems at scale.
- Deep knowledge of authorization and access control patterns.
- Strong Ruby on Rails experience in production SaaS environments.
- Strong Python experience, especially in AI services and integrations.
- Experience designing REST APIs and GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with high-scale data and storage systems.
- Proven experience guiding large, cross-team technical efforts.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and influence technical direction.
