Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex trading platform components using Java, Spring Framework, and web technologies.
- Build responsive web interfaces and RESTful APIs while applying design patterns and maintaining code quality through peer reviews.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, business analysts, and product owners, mentor junior developers, lead small initiatives, and maintain technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code practices, monitoring and alerting solutions, and workflow automation.
- Support release planning, code packaging, environment preparation, deployment, rollback procedures, change management, and post-deployment monitoring.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, participate in proofs of concept, complete relevant technical certifications, and translate trading and business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop financial markets and trading workflow knowledge while ensuring regulatory compliance and providing technical feasibility assessments.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts, including multithreading, exception handling, and containers.
- Experience with J2EE features and technologies including Hibernate, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing full-stack applications, trading platforms, web interfaces, and APIs.
- Preferred knowledge of Sybase or Oracle databases.
- Preferred knowledge of DevOps toolchains including CI/CD, Jenkins, and Git.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and understand financial markets and trading workflows.
