Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partnered AI labs and platforms on high-impact projects.
- Design complex, domain-specific problems and datasets to rigorously evaluate AI models.
- Provide expert insights to improve AI model accuracy, reasoning, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with Scale’s research team to co-author technical reports and research papers.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary Human Frontier Collective community.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering or related technical experience, or equivalent domain expertise through academic work.
- A PhD, postdoctoral research, or faculty experience in Computer Science or a related field may provide relevant academic expertise.
- Demonstrated coding proficiency and analytical abilities.
- Deep expertise in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, Swift, JavaScript, or C++.
- Detail-oriented, innovative, collaborative mindset with an interest in applied AI research.
