Responsibilities
- Develop robust and maintainable software using established software development practices and standards.
- Participate actively across the full software development life cycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Optimize the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.
- Collaborate directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
- Partner with global and remote engineering squads to build and deploy AI solutions.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership, scientific papers, and conferences on behalf of BCG X.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a software development environment.
- Experience with software development and global, remote teams.
- Proficiency with analytic programming, ideally in Python, C++, or Scala.
- Familiarity with relational, non-relational, and streaming data structures.
- Understanding of parallel computing.
- Experience with Large Language Models and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Previous consulting experience or strong leadership experience is preferred.
- Experience building generative AI tools, full-stack development, DevOps, data technologies, or data science and machine learning is preferred.
