Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain machine learning platform functions for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and model deployment.
- Build scalable data-processing and computing processes that support platform stability and performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand requirements and provide tools and technical support.
- Integrate the platform with other systems in partnership with system administrators and software engineers.
- Manage and monitor platform operations, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate emerging technologies for platform improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, plus at least five years of relevant experience.
- Strong software engineering skills and proficiency with common programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of distributed computing and large-scale data-processing principles, tools, and frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Understanding of cloud computing and containerization technologies such as AWS and Docker.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Knowledge and experience in machine learning and deep learning are preferred but not required.
