Responsibilities
- Design and develop flexible, scalable services that support global financial transactions.
- Own software systems end to end and influence technology direction at global scale.
- Lead the design and architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling considerations.
- Work with AWS cloud services to build and test highly scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers or lead an engineering team while contributing to coding, reviews, build processes, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 8+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
