Foundation Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer
HARMAN InternationalResponsibilities
- Design, develop, unit test, and document complex software features.
- Improve code quality and contribute to bug-prevention initiatives.
- Collaborate on software architecture, planning, low-level design, and high-level domain features.
- Conduct pre-integration testing and verification for assigned functional areas.
- Guide team members through technical training, reviews, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Track and communicate software-development progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience of 1 to 3 years.
- Ability to design, develop, unit test, and document complex software features.
- Knowledge of software quality practices, coding standards, and bug-prevention methods.
- Working knowledge of Agile software development practices and ASPICE process guidelines.
- Ability to contribute to low-level and high-level software design.
- Experience supporting software testing, verification, and pre-integration activities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Baseline familiarity with using AI to support efficiency, problem-solving, and quality.
