Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain data-management IT systems using Python and applicable development methodologies.
- Troubleshoot issues using scripts and SQL queries and support production incidents.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Quality Engineers on user-story elaboration, test automation, defect resolution, and feature demonstrations.
- Work with DevOps teams on continuous integration and release automation.
- Implement automated unit tests and apply test-driven and behavior-driven development practices.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test plans and cases, including performance, security, and system integration testing.
- Validate test outcomes, conduct defect-fix impact analysis, and resolve defects with development teams.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Python and software development methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools and data virtualization tools such as Denodo.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark, Linux, and ETL tools such as Informatica.
- Understanding of test automation practices, including TDD and BDD.
- Knowledge of SAP BO and Tableau is preferred.
- Relevant software development or testing certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Solution Developer or Certified Software Testing Professional, is preferred.
