Responsibilities
- Develop verification and validation test strategies for SDV embedded software, AUTOSAR Classic BSW, AUTOSAR Adaptive services, Linux drivers, and middleware.
- Build SIL test environments using virtual ECUs, dSPACE VEOS, Vector CANoe, vTESTstudio, containerized services, mocked backends, and simulated deployments.
- Develop HIL integration test automation using dSPACE SCALEXION, NI PXI, Vector CANoe RT, and related hardware platforms.
- Create automated regression tests using Python, pytest, Robot Framework, CAPL, and Shell scripting.
- Execute ISO 26262 software-level tests covering structural, statement, branch, and MC/DC coverage, fault injection, and watchdog supervision for ASIL C and ASIL D.
- Validate AUTOSAR BSW integration, including OS timing, COM PDU routing, NvM cycles, DCM UDS services, DEM, and related modules.
- Validate AUTOSAR Adaptive service discovery, method calls, event subscriptions, field notifications, and lifecycle behavior.
- Test secure boot, TEE/HSM APIs, AUTOSAR SecOC, TLS/DTLS endpoints, and platform security mechanisms.
- Test OTA update behavior, Uptane clients, A/B update cycles, fault injection, and rollback verification.
- Maintain requirements traceability in Polarion, Codebeamer, and IBM DOORS NG and prepare ASPICE SWE4-SWE6 verification evidence.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in automotive embedded software or SDV platform development; the posting also states a minimum of three years of experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Embedded Systems Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with automotive embedded software verification and validation, AUTOSAR BSW testing, Linux driver testing, or middleware service validation.
- Knowledge of SIL-based AUTOSAR testing using dSPACE VEOS, Vector CANoe, vTESTstudio, or ETAS COSYM.
- Proficiency in Python, pytest, Robot Framework, Shell scripting, or CAPL for embedded software regression testing.
- Understanding of ISO 26262 software-level testing, structural coverage, fault injection, and ASIL A-D requirements.
- Experience testing AUTOSAR BSW functions including OS, COM, PDU routing, DCM, UDS, DEM, and NvM.
- Familiarity with HIL platforms including dSPACE SCALEXION, MicroAutoBox, Vector CANoe RT, and NI VeriStand.
- Knowledge of Polarion, Codebeamer, and IBM DOORS NG for requirements traceability and verification evidence.
- Experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive service testing, ara::com, SOME/IP, mock service discovery, and lifecycle validation is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux kernel module testing, KUnit, ftrace, and sysfs validation is preferred.
- Knowledge of secure boot, TLS/DTLS, SecOC, OTA updates, Uptane, A/B update cycles, and rollback testing is preferred.
- Understanding of ASPICE SWE4-SWE6 compliance and audit-ready evidence preparation is preferred.
