Base Salary
$140k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement software for MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
- Develop network management software and web interfaces.
- Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
- Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk voice applications.
- Improve product security and robustness to meet requirements such as NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP Common Criteria.
- Develop software for product performance and reliability testing.
- Develop and maintain device drivers and board support packages for ARM- and RISC-V-based systems.
- Customize Linux systems and develop scripts.
- Support laboratory testing, demonstrations, and related engineering duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant engineering field.
- At least five years of relevant embedded system software development experience, or three years with an advanced STEM degree.
- Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.
- U.S. citizenship due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
- Knowledge of security protocols and encryption algorithms, including the CNSA suite, is preferred.
- Experience with socket programming, Internet and Ethernet protocols, MAC and networking layers, IPsec, network protocols, authentication, and encryption is preferred.
- Experience with AMD UltraScale+, MPSoC, Microchip PolarFire SoC, or board support package development is preferred.
- Linux Interrupt Service Routine development experience is preferred.
- Successful background check and drug test are required.
