Responsibilities
- Teach and coach team members to develop expertise in ML.
- Act as a technical leader and consultant on ML within the team.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to function as a cohesive unit.
- Take ownership of the full ML lifecycle on production systems.
- Make key design decisions on ML components considering technical and product implications.
- Analyze production ML systems to identify failure modes and drive improvements.
- Identify opportunities to simplify live systems and reduce support burdens.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in ML engineering in production environments.
- Strong working knowledge of data processing tools like BigQuery and pandas.
- Fluency in ML fundamentals including supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP and AWS.
- Strong production-grade Python skills.
- Experience leading technical design of ML projects.
