Base Salary
$157k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing tools and products used by Vizient members.
- Create rapid experiments and prototypes, then move products from idea through production and iterative releases.
- Develop platform capabilities that improve future product velocity.
- Partner with product leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand users, problems, and product intent.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed, learning, and durability.
- Lead high-impact projects or initiatives and influence technical direction at an organizational level.
- Help define how the new R&D unit operates and grows.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success leading high-impact projects or initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and influence technical direction at an organizational level.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of building and shipping software that was actually used.
- Ability to work effectively on ambiguous problems with real users and constraints and translate product intent into working software.
- Prior exposure to large-scale systems, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise-grade software development.
- Healthcare experience is not required; 2–5 years of experience is common but not required.
